Great Product!!
Date:
This thing works great!! Not only for fishing, but also for hiking and in my car. I don't know what the guy below is talking about because I can get dozens of discarded items into it before I have to empty it. It's great for gum wrappers, tissues, baby wipes, straw wrappers, etc, etc. Keeps my car clean. Once trash passes through the removable rubber flange, it's in there for good and, unlike a lot of other waste receptacles, nothing will pop out because you don't have to open and close the container. If every fisherman carried one of these, our rivers would be a lot cleaner. Get it!

A good idea, just not very practical
Date:
I picked-up one of these a few weeks back as i like to smoke while I fish and the description said it would be good to use for trash, butts and waste nylon. Unfortunately, it turned out to be somewhat of a one-shot deal. I placed an energy bar wrapper in there and it took up all the space so I just put the wrapper in my pocket. I started using it to store butts and this was fine for a while. Unfortunately, unlike the camera film cases I used to use this has an open top and hangs on my vest. This means that all day I'd get whiffs of old tobacco butts like an old ash-trey, which wasn't too nice. Also using it to collect butts meant I couldn't use it to store tangled line as it became hard to poke it in once there were a few butts in there. All in all, nice idea, just too small and not designed very well.

Such a simple idea, and such a great one! For years I stuffed a vest pocket with scrap line, and it was a pain to keep frorm working it's way free. The PioPod is a very basic, little trash can that clips to your vest. Nothing fancy, but it works, and it keeps the rivers clean!

greatest idea of all time
Date:
It takes monofilament 600 years to degrade in a river (and fluoro even longer). That means Christopher Columbus' powerflex would still be sittin right where he left it... trashing up some piece of wildlife. This thing works beautifully for tippet/leader (way better than the monomaster), plus you can jam other junk in it if you need to. You have no excuse not to get one.
