Cabela's Guidewear® GXII™ Long-Sleeve Shirt – Tall

  • UPF rating of 40 protects you from the sun
  • Special tippet pocket and fly box pockets
  • Underarm zipper vents
  • Caped back with mesh ventilation
  • Rod holder loop
  • Hook-and-loop Swiss tab sleeves
With a straight-hemmed shirttail, this shirt looks great tucked or untucked. There are hidden zipper side vents in the underarms for extra ventilation. An extended sun collar with hook-and-loop collar points comes in handy on windy days. The caped back with a cooling mesh liner keeps you from overheating when the weather and fishing action are both hot, while the UPF rating of 40 shell fabric gives you protection from harmful solar rays. Hook-and-loop Swiss tab sleeves for easy one-hand rolling. Other features include a rod holder loop and shoulder tab. There’s a specialized tippet pocket and large chest pockets for fly boxes and other items. Machine washable. Imported.

Great River Shirt

Great river shirt for White Water Rafting. Blocks the sun, Dries fast, Keeps you cool on very hot days, Just enough to keep you comfortable on a cool day.
Find I use these shirts for most any outdoor activity, walks, hikes, cutting wood, just working in the yard!

Not up to original standard

Three years ago I bought the above shirt and really like it, wearing it often. I decided to buy a different colored shirt to be able to take two on a motorcycle trip. This one cost a bit more and has velcro and elastic to hold up the sleeves and seems to be flimsier material. It did serve its purpose on the trip. Next time, I'll go to the store so that I can see exactly what I'm getting.

Great Shirt

Of all the many fishing shirts I have I prefer to fish in the Cabelas Guidewear shirts. The zippered pockets are perfect for my camera, no chance to bend over and lose it like with velcro or having to hassle with buttons !! Also I can keep my cell phone in the other zippered pocket so if I have service I can call my brothers or other outdoor buddies and give them a report on the scenery and fishing, maybe rub it in a little !!!
