Best Jacket
Date:
I have many dry plus and gore tex jackets this jacket I bought last fall because it was on sale and wanted a jacket with a wind stopper zip in liner. This jacket worked all last fall fishing in the rain and I plowed snow in it all winter. The wind never made it through even in the -20 mornings with blowing snow. The gore tex stayed dry even after two days straight of plowing in an open cab bobcat. The best part of this jacket are the cuffs that stop all water from running back down your arms something none of my other coats have.

Finally a parka for tall men!
Date:
I'd been looking for an arctic suit for a couple years, but couldn't find them in a tall size. I'm 6' 6" and the ice Armour and other brands were too short in the sleeves. I compared this to the Arctic Anngler parka bu couldn't justify double the cost for an extra 25% of insullation. This parka is great! It is warm yet fairly light and not bulky. It's perfect in length and has plenty of pockets. The shell is totally windproof. I just finish blowing snow and NONE of it stuck to me like it did with carharts. I came in just as clean as when I went out. The matching bibs make it a great winter suit.. If you order, I'd suggest getting one size larger than usual. The only reason I don't give five stars is because the sleeves could stand to be just a hair longer.

Best foul weather jacket out there...
Date:
I have had a guildewear thinsulate jacket and bibs for over 10 years now, it is still in excellent condition, very durable. I wear for late fall, early winter Musky fishing and nothing was ever as wind proof or water proof as this. It keeps me warm when nothing before did. If or when my current one ever wears out, I WILL be buying another set.

Got what it takes
Date:
I bought this jacket for late fall striper fishing at the jersey shore. Having had a few brutally cold mornings I was quite impressed with the jackets performance. No wind or sea mist even thought about ruining any of my trips. Can't wait for the early spring run as I know I won't bet getting wet and chilly this upcoming season.
