I should have known by the price that it was made of sub-standard quality. The netting is no more than a black piece of netting and does not really have a camo pattern. It stands out and is not ideal for duck hunting. It might be good for turkey hunting in a heavily shaded area. However, it is good at keeping mosquitos off of your face at dusk.
I bought this cap as a replacement of one I wore out. I like to wear baseball caps in the stand to keep the sun, rain or snow out of my eyes. The built in headnet can be positioned to cover as much or as little of your face as you would like. The cap's head band will expand enough to fit over my thermal headgear for late season hunts, also.
I was happy to see Cabela's still carries the solid material top (no mesh) version. It is well made and I think it will last as long as my first Cabela's 4-N-1 I bought 15 years ago.
