I just ordered 2 more of these hats. I found this hat to be warm without itching, portable, and it wicks moisture like a champ. I wear it for most every activity when it is cold. The biggest issue with the hat is that my wife and kids are always borrowing it.

Nice and warm. Not expensive. It's, perhaps obviously, not the old classic knit woolen cap. But it does the job and would likely be more wind resistant.
