The fit of this beanie is very awkward. It is way too short to reach my ears, too loose to fit my head snugly and the fleece is smaller then the wool outer layer. The entire hat is also very thin and not very warm. I have been trying it in the thick woods where the wind is not as much of a problem so that my ears are uncovered and I can hear any movement but even than I don't stay warm. Good idea but poor execution.
