This performance-driven system was specifically created to be hunter-friendly. It merges the latest technology with a mountaineering philosophy. The Traverse Beanie utilizes Polartec® odor-resistant technology with microencapsulated pure silver. Wind-resistant fabric has a high heat-to-weight ratio and exhibits four-way stretch for the perfect fit. In contrast to mimicry camouflage, which attempts to make the hunter closely resemble his environment, OptiFade™ Concealment technology aims to prevent the animal from recognizing a hunter as a predator, even if the hunter is detected. The macropattern breaks up the symmetry of the human body so that if you’re caught in the open, you will remain unidentifiable. One size fits most. Imported.

Would be great if it came in more than "one size fits most". Unless you wear a size 7 1/8" hat or less, this most likely be too small for you. I'm a size 7 3/8" and I could barely get it to cover the tops of my ears.

This beanie fits my large head well. It stretches, unlike the celsius beanie and covers my ears. Breathes great and keeps my head warm. I keep it in my jacket all the time when the temps drop.

Like all the Sitka Gear, evolved for purpose. A lightweight beanie that's perfect for cool but not cold situations. Wicks away moisture, keeps scent in. Not sloppy--close fitting. Almost forget it's there, unlike the cold weather gear. If you like beanies, this one is great for mild conditions. Cold weather? Go for the Celsius beanie.

I used this cap for all of my mid season archery hunts and it worked great!! It fits great and it is not to heavy and not to light, just right!!
