For decades, the classic Mad Bomber Hat has been the choice of Northwoods adventurers and outdoorsmen for wear on brutal late-season outings. And now this traditional favorite is available in camo models for hunters who refuse to let winter’s worst keep them inside. Just like the originals, they’re fully lined with plush rabbit fur that surrounds your head in soft comfort for an all-natural barrier against wind and cold. The shell is constructed of tough water-resistant Saddle-Cloth®. Thick quilted crown lining. Imported.

Chin Strap Broke

I purchased this bomber hat for my husband for Christmas. When it arrived it was everything I expected and he was really happy with the hat. Unfortunately, after only a couple weeks the chin strap broke and is no longer usable. On the bright side, he still wears the hat since it is very warm, but would be nice if he could use the strap since temps here reach -40 degrees on many occasions. We'll be looking for a similar hat with a studier strap.

I couldn't live without this fur hat !

It's cold here in the Winter, and my bald head would freeze without it !
I had been wearing the heck out of this one, and it was so warm and comfortable. Totally made several fishing trips doable.
But it was starting to get soiled :-( And they say, dry clean only. Sorry, I just don't have time for that.... So I threw in it my washer on the gentlest cycle, warm water, with mild detergent. Then dried it on a low heat setting, and Whooo Hooo ! It came out softer and fluffier than new :-)
^ This is where the real value is. I'm fixing to order another one right now :-)

okay, when I opened the package there was alot of fur in the bag and all over the hat where the fur wasn't supposed to be. Got it out and fur got all over my clothes. I don't know if it had a rough ride here but I hope the fur donesn't keep coming off like that during wear. Overall I still think its a good gift for my dad, the fur is super soft!!
