These gloves are 95% acrylic and 5% spandex. The labeling states that they fit "Youth through XXL" size. Like most things that are "one size fits all" they are only ideal if your particular size range is in the middle. I would recommend these gloves for women with average to small size hands and boys of age 12 and younger.
As for the quality of construction they seem to be better than the average dotted palm jersey gloves that you can find anywhere. I do wish that a more realistic sizing would be included in the product description. After all, I purchased them for myself, not as a gift for my wife.
My loss is her gain. She is very pleased with these gloves and encouraged me to by more products in her size lol.
