great pants
Date:
I wear these pants with suspenders every weekend to do chores. I wore them to work a few timeswhen they were newer. I'd love it if Cabela's would offer a style with cargo pockets. You can never have enough pockets. These are not for extreme cold. Better than cotton, however.

Durable and classic
Date:
Great outdoor pants. Fit is true to size, and this is real whipcord - tightly woven and durable as heck. The only odd thing (and the reason I didn't give 5 stars) is that after washing them, they developed a very weird smell. I'm hoping that airing them out will help, but I'm concerned about hunting with them now. Still, overall, these are a solid pair of pants for all non-summer outdoor use.

My two cents!
Date:
I ordered a pair of these pants prior to my Nov 2010 Elk hunting trip based on my MT friend's recommendation to try wool, Without question, I should have taken the advice in 2009. They were great coupled with your Outfitter Wool Jacket. I stayed warm thru the cold snowy seven day hunt which allowed me to take a great 6x6 Bull and a respectable 5x3 Muley. I liked them so well, as soon as I returned home, I immediately ordered a second pair. I wanted to make sure I had a backup pair just in case the company stoped making them, which would be a huge mistake if you ask me. I've owned just about every kind of insulated and waterproof hunting apparel you can buy and these have outperformed them all. One thing I've learned in my many years as a hunter is more times than not the "new and improved" does not even come close to outperforming the more seasoned veteran. Invariably, I always go back to the tried and true. So don't mess up a good thing and keep on selling these great hunting pants. My fellow hunters, buy a pair and you won't be disappointed. Good luck!

Best Wool Pant for the Price
Date:
These are a superior light to mid weight wool pant that is tightly woven and well tailored. These even look good enough to wear out to dinner.
