Feel the tradition of hunting in wool outerwear, but with a complete make-over. While the fabric is still our 100% 24 oz. virgin wool with the SW100 finish to retain its shape and resist shrinkage, it now carries a sleek modern design. And it's backed with our exclusive waterproof, breathable Dry-Plus membrane so you can hunt through the worst weather without getting wet. The fabric is machine washable for convenience and resists shrinkage. A polyester twill lining allows them to slide on and off easily. Uninsulated pants have a five-pocket design. Imported.

I loved these pants when I first got them. Warm. A relaxed fit that made it easy to move around in. But then the bottons started falling off. ALL of them. Very poor thread. Next, I started tearing the wool in situations where tearing would never have happened with other wool pants I've owned over the years. The last straw was a HUGE tear in the seat of the pants that appeared after getting into my tree stand, stretching the leg up with one step being quite high. The wool is just dissintegrating. Button thread that dissintegrates and the wool itself dissintegrates. I would buy another pair of these, but am afraid I'll end up having to buy another pair again in a couple years because of the poor quality of the material.

Poor design

I recently purchased a pair of "Dry-Plus" Legacy wool pants and found them to be a nice design & cut. However, when checking the care label I found the lining is cotton. A hydrophilic lining in a "Dry-Plus" product is incongruent. These pants would be worthless for outdoor activity as the lining would attract moisture, defeat the ability of the "Dry-Plus" membrane to transport the moisture to the outside, and be very cold in spite of being wool.

I agree with HAB1, The button needs to be a better button like on the non-dry plus wool pants. Also when I got the pants the right front pocket was sewn to something inside the liner that I had to break in order to put them on. After I did this though I wore them all day duck hunting and loved the fit and warmth of the pants. Fix the button and they're perfect.

This product would have received 5 stars but for two things - when I received them I almost tore off the button of the pants just unbuttoning them to try them on. Needs to be reinforced with heavier thread. Also, the description states 6 pockets - wrong. Mine do not have a left rear pocket. Also, it would be nice if length alterations were available. The good points - these are quality wool pants with a lining that is comfortable to the skin. The cargo pockets are HUGE. Nitpicking, but I obviously ordered mine a week too soon because they are now on sale for $30 less than I paid for them. If you're thinking of wool pants and are undecided what to get - order these. With the above provisos, you will not be disappointed.
