This is a performance-driven system specifically created to be hunter-friendly. The top-of-the-line Coldfront Jacket is optimized for cold, wet weather. Its waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® three-layer soft shell blocks wind and winter moisture, and traps warmth and wicks moisture with a soft microfleece lining. The shell also features OptiFade™ camouflage from GORE – the first and only concealment system ever scientifically designed around the way a hunter’s prey views the world. It’s the only concealment system to combine a symmetry-disrupting macro-pattern with the fractal-geometry-based micropattern designed to become nothing in the eyes of prey at engagement ranges of 20 meters and beyond. Pit zips let you cool down without removing layers. Athletic fit and articulated sleeves for a full range of motion. Zippered waterproof chest and handwarmer pockets. Fully adjustable bomber hood offers a wide field of view. Laser-cut and microtaped seams. Imported.

This jacket is by far the best jacket i have ever used. It is lightweight, waterproof and warm. It is made for the coldest and wettest conditions. Sitka gear in general is at the top of the game with all their products. I used this in the dead of winter in december, i was wearing the sitka merino zip t, the sitka traverse hoody, the sitka kelvin jacket and the coldfront jacket and was not cold but was not overheating. The best technological and the most highly advanced gear on the planet. Sitka Gear.
