Great archery jacket
Date:
Keeps me warm without being too bulky. On a 30 degree morning i wear 1 thermal layer and this hydrofleece jacket, nothing else and stay warm in the stand. It is very comfortable and well made. The magnetic pocket closures are a nice feature too for quick access and a nice fit and finish.

very durable
Date:
I purchased one of the first sets of Hydro-Fleece back in the early/mid 90's and it is still going strong today. I purchased the new PrimaLoft set of hydro-fleece because I wanted to cut back on bulk without sacrificing warmth. This combination excels at that! Only drawback I have with this new set is that the parka doesn't have 2-way zippers to allow the unzipping of the parka while sitting in the truck and traveling to the stand.

excelent parka, but....
Date:
This is a very comfortable parka made with soft quiet material. It is warm and gives a feeling of free movement but the zipper is much too small and it is only a one way zipper. The small one way zipper prevents you from opening the bottom just a little when you want to sit in the car or on a bench outside. It is too small to pull up or down with gloves or if you don't see as well as you did when you were young.
This parker also needs a top of the zipper flap so that when you close it against the wind it will cover your chin and mouth.

The Perfect Parka
Date:
I have a thing for good hunting coats. I've tried and sent back too many over the years. The last coat I was reasonably happy with was a Browning Hydro-Fleece I bought about 15 years ago, so I was pretty excited when my wife gave me the go ahead to try out the new Browning design. As always Cabelas delivered my order promptly, I was a little torn between XL and 2XL, glad I bought the 2XL which fits me a little loose, perfect for layering. I've had a chance to hunt with it just one day, but I love it. The pockets are well designed, deep, and plentiful. The coat is fairly light, quite a bit lighter than some other cold weather jackets, but warm. That said, In extremely cold weather I would recommend layering. The stand up collar keeps the neck warm and the hood is well designed. The coat is extremely quiet, and I like the camo pattern and overall look of the coat very much. It is very well constructed. When you put it on you just feel ready to give it your all. My only slight criticism is the small zipper. My old Hydro Fleece has a nice big zipper, which is somewhat easier to use, but probably not as water tight. So, bottom line is, this is an excellent hunting coat.
