Toasty Warm and Dry!

I work on a horse farm in MD and we have had an unseasonably warm winter here but on those frigid and wet days this parka kept me exceptionally warm and completely dry. Never felt the wind either and part of the farm is on a hill where the wind is often steady blowing. The price made this an even sweeter deal!

Warm Coat

This coat has kept me warm in very cold, windy weather. The only negative attribute is that the inner material of the coat is very noisy, making sitting quietly in a tree stand pretty difficult.

I knew this year there would be a lot of hunters in my area for the gun opener and I wanted to be more visible than I am in just a cover vest. Got this parka on sale and, like others, was skeptical of what I was going to get for the money. Overall I'm very pleased. Right out of the wrapping I put the sleeve under running water to see how long it would resist the water and after 10 minutes it was still dry inside and out. Put it to the test opening day. Mid-afternoon the sleet turned to steady rain and while others left their stands I sat in the tree and harvested a good buck bumped by the pedestrian traffic. Can't say how long it'll last, but since it only sees action for 10 days out of the year it should last for many years to come.

I bought this parka when it was more than half off and I was a little weary of what the quality would be. When I got it I was suprised of how well It was made.As I hunted for 9 days in the snow during deer season I was very impressed with how warm and comfortable it was. At the end of the season, it had held up great. Great buy.
