Cabela's Packable Nylon Parka – Tall

  • Hook-and-loop-adjustable hood and cuffs
We’ve updated the style of this proven, value-minded rainwear to give you even better wet-weather protection. The lightweight nylon shell is coated with a durable water-repellent Polytex® treatment and has heat-tape-sealed seams for infallible moisture-beading performance. The mesh lining wicks away perspiration. Hook-and-loop-adjustable hood and cuffs add an extra measure of defense against the rain. It packs into one of two large front chest pockets. Two zippered pockets with storm flaps. One-handed shock-corded adjustments on hood and bottom hem. Imported.
Tall sizes: M-3XL (extra 2" body, 1-1/2" sleeve length).
Colors: Coastal Blue, Black, Evergreen, Dark Red, Field Khaki.

great allrounder

No idea where my first review is, so i write another one.
This rain coat is a great allrounder. It is light and comfortable. Many strings for adjustment. Only strange or weak point: the pockets are a little high.
I am 6 feet and 200 pounds. Ltall was a great choice!

I absolutely love the quality of this Parka. Definitely keeps the rain away. Even has a little warmth - I suppose thanks to the mesh lining and windproofing.
The pockets? WAY too high to be useful for your hands. I tried to understand why they were placed so high, but I found my hands/arms pulling down on the pocket and probably straining the seams. Weird. Still, it's great jacket, especially for the price.

Bought this rain parka with the matching rain pants for football season - worked great! Only beef is that there are no pockets for your hands as the packable pocket is located on the chest. Alos if you purchase the pants they are tagged with packable instructions, however, there is no zipped pocket on the pants to pack them into and they do ont fit into the parkas packable pouch with the park..

We have purchased different types of rain gear to use, while riding our Harley, and none of them have withstood the wind blowing against them at 60 MPH except this one. Very strong, and we love the way it packs into itself, and how compact it is, perfect for using on a bike trip, when you don't have much room for packing.
