good jacket

Bought the trailhead jacket for wet weather fishing, and it has not dissappointed. Has been completely waterproof even through full days of rainfall (I wouldn't expect anything less from gore-tex). I have even used it streamside as a subsitute for a wading jacket, it is versitile and the numerous pockets are very handy. When fully zipped the soft inside lining for your face adds to the comfort. This is a solid jacket for numerous occasions.

This high-tech jacket, I'm waiting for the start of the season, spring to put the jacket on the river. I wore a jacket on the body, stood in the shower, I poured water on his jacket, and indeed remained inside the dry! It's a miracle! Excellent membrane Gore-tex! Now I wear this jacket, this is my 3 layer, for cross-country skiing, very comfortable, lots of pockets, underarm ventilation there.

For another 20 cents Cabelas could have made a great jacket. The strip of velcro to tighten the sleeves around the wrist is extremely thin. It holds for about 10 minutes and has to be re-fastened. Had they used a wider strip of velcro this would be a great jacket. As it is, it will be shipped back tomorrow.
