Good Base Layer, Decen Jacket

Upon receiving this jacket the first thing to pop out at me was the fact that it is labelled and tagged as a "BASE LAYER; next to skin fabric". It could be used as a light weight jacket, but it does not block wind very well. The stretch in the fabric is nice and accommodates movement nicely.
My main issue is how large this jacket runs. I would recommend that if this is to be used as a jacket to order 1 size below your usual. (I usually wear an XL but had to exchange for a L; I am 6'3" 195lb for reference). If for a base layer, I would order 2 jackets (1 that is 1 size smaller and 1 that is 2 sizes smaller) and return the one that doesn't fit correctly (A Medium may be the way I would have to go for a base layer).

flimsy jacket

Jacket size is OK (I ordered a large) but sleeve ends are tight. The cuffs are a tight elastic of about 4 inches. It will bunch up any long sleeve item you have underneath and are fairly uncomfortable. Jacket does stretch nicely but tends to cling to underclothing. also jacket is so light that one wonders why have it (a windbreaker would do the same) and definitely not at the suggested retail or even sale price. Maybe if it was waterproof and sleeve cuffs weren't as tight.

almost a great lightweight jacket

I ordered one and liked the fit and feel so much i ordered a second. However, after the first time wearing the jacket (for only about one hour) it started to pill on sides under the arms and where my backpack straps rubbed. This fabric will not last long. I will need to return for refund.
