World-class Meindl construction gives these chukkas the ultimate performance, comfort and durability of the top-selling “Perfekt” series. Cushioned cork footbeds support the entire foot – not just the arch – promoting foot health and eliminating fatigue. Shock-absorbing EVA midsoles add another layer of cushioning. Trusted GORE-TEX® membranes deliver guaranteed waterproof, breathable protection. Refined full-grain leather uppers match with chinos, khakis or jeans. Multigrip® rubber outsoles offer all-surface traction and feature three flex curves. Each curve has progressively more flex to mirror the natural walking gait. Imported.

Nearly Perfekt

I purchased these last fall and have found them an excellent shoe. I did buy one size smaller and if I wear a heavy sock they are a bit tight. However, with a hiking sock or cotton crew sock they fit perfekt. I normally wear orthotics and the Perfekt line of boots and shoes are the only shoes I have worn in 15 years that do not require orthotics.

Terrible Shoes

I wore these shoes for 4 days they almost destroyed
my feet. They have no cushion to them at all also
it is reccommended to order one size smaller
than you usually do--- No order one half size smaller
now I have a pair of shoes that I am trying to
give away to some one other than my friends I don't
want to make them mad at me if they wear them!

Really Great Shoes if You Get a Correct Fit

These shoes are just about the best fitting casual shoes that I have ever worn. The key factor is getting a correct fit since many of the Meindl shoes are built around a "European Last" which just fits differently from the usual American fit. My usual American size in boots or shoes is 11W, but with my experience with other Meindl shoes sold on this site, my size in this shoe is 10. Don't be afraid to actually order the whole size smaller and you will find that they fit differently from an American style shoe, but they will fit you perfectly. These shoes are not cheap, but if you are an old guy like me and you need shoes that will support you all day long, these are the shoes to get.

Very comfortable. Unsurpassed quality. Made in Italy. Never skimp on your shoes. I hope Cabela's will offer Meindl Dublin GTX in the future. As always, Cabela's was on the ball and I had my shoes in less than a week. Thanks to ALCON.
