Sleek and durable, midweight, abrasion-resistant nylon hiking pants are made of bluesign®-approved fabric. Bluesign actively contributes to the conservation of our planet. These pants feature clean lines, quick-drying water-repellent fabric and a UPF rating of 30. Harness-friendly waistband. Gusset at crotch and articulation at knees for improved mobility. Security zip pocket and side utility pocket. Imported.

Best all around choice

I have tried several brands and models, and I have found these to be the best overall. They are very lightweight, yet feel like they will last a long time. The fit is just right. I like that they give you a choice of inseam length, as I am short. I can't stand to sweat and then be stuck wearing heavy wet jeans all day. These keep me much cooler and drier than others. I wore them kayaking around the lake on a cool morning, and the water I inevitable splashed onto my legs beaded up and rolled off. Even if they get wet, these pants dry quickly and never get heavy.
I bought a couple pairs, and I wear them to work almost every day in the summertime. Highly recommended. I was actually online to buy my dad a pair.

Better than khaki's

I work in the medical field and wear these pants in place the traditional khaki pants. These pants breathe very nicely in warmer climate (or in patient rooms that are very warm), does not restrict movement, and the best feature is they are "fluid" resistant.

Surprised I'm the first to review these! As always with The North Face, great quality. May be the best feeling pants I've ever worn - feels like I'm wearing pajamas. Great in the summer and with a pair of long John's...great in the winter. Excellent product.
