The North Face® Apex Bionic Vest

  • Durable water-repellent finish
  • Wind-resistant with soft fleece backing
  • Great alone or as a liner in your cold-weather system
This sleeveless version of The North Face’s popular jacket is called Bionic because it works together with your body’s natural movement to enhance comfort and performance. The fabric is a special blend of polyester, nylon and elastane ripstop stretch that’s DWR-treated for water resistance. It’s also wind-resistant and equipped with a soft fleece backing that has natural moisture-wicking properties. Full-zip front with two pockets, hem cinch cord. Imported.

It has been in the negative numbers (F) here steady for the last month. I wear the vest to work over a dress shirt or sweater. I have recieved some good comments about the vest and am happy with the fit and look. Do not care for the big North Face on the front but if I was not wearing it to work that would not be an issue. I bought the (L) and at 6' & 185lbs it fits good. Almost a tailored look. You are going to need to be fairly trim to wear this size however.-- my two cents worth--
