i Purchased my Filson Mackinaw vest some years ago, and since then i have put more miles on it then i care to remember. i've worn this Vest Every day of the Deer, Elk, Duck, and Goose seasons here in Western Oregon for Years and it Still looks Brand New! now Thats Quality American Craftsmanship!

A very warm and packable extra layer. Top quality. I own the brown one and the red and black plaid vest. Nothing like Filson wool for warmth and durability. I own at least fifteen Filson products and they are all made in the U.S. When you compare them with other overseas produced brands, the quality is second to none!

Excellent value. Wool is an excellent insulator even when wet. I gave the vest as a gift and the recipient wears it frequently. Excellent service and delivery.

Wonderful quality, as are all Filson vests. However, this is a very heavy wool vest. If you do not live in the far north of the country, you may find that it is too heavy.
