New contrasting colors on the pocket flaps and inside the placket give our popular Safari Vest an updated look. But we kept all the same features for unbeatable function. The 16 pockets keep all your essentials where you can easily find them. The liner even has a screen-printed diagram showing many uses. It boasts four front cargo, three front zip-closed and two interior security pockets. Made of rugged, yet lightweight, 6-ounce cotton calico that’s been garment washed for softness. Mesh liner and ventilation back. Imported.

The vest is well made. I find the pockets are deep and easy easy to access. The vest is capable to handle most items I need to take on day trips and hikes.

finally what I've been looking for!

I've been looking for a replacement vest that I've used for surf fishing on Long Island, NY. I wore the other one down to shreds over the years because I couldn't find what I was looking for.
Turns out that fishing vests are geared toward fly fishing. I need something bigger and more durable for the surf. This vest has it all! More pockets than I need. Places to put all of my equipment for a long morning or evening in the surf.
I highly recommend it!
