Rockport Classic World Tour Walking Shoes

These handsome uppers are constructed of tumbled, water-resistant, full-grain leather that maintains its good looks even after thousands of miles of wear. Their superior comfort and support begins with the patented Walking Platform™ construction, which features wider rear-foot stability and forefoot flexibility to support the natural walking motion. A compression-molded EVA midsole with a flexible steel shank delivers cushioning and midfoot support, which in turn reduces foot and leg fatigue. The full- contact rubber outsole is both durable and non-marking, making these shoes ideal for wear on a variety of surfaces.

Darn Good Shoe

I ordered these shoes for work, I am a counselor in a 50 bed faclility and am on my feet a lot, in and out of 1 ton vans and walking the halls. I live in the country and spend a lot of time outdoors as well and needed an all around shoe that would be comfortable supporting my 290 weight as well as fit a wide foot (EE). It also had to look good enought to wear with slacks and chinos. These came and fit the bill fine, comfortable and good looking. I got some bleach on them and they spotted but I will dye them I think as they have lots of wear left on them. I will buy more you can count on that.

Great Shoes

I bought these as a replacement for another pair of world tour shoes that i have had for about a year. I wear these at work every day and do a lot of walking inside on carpet and tile floors and these shoes have been just wonderfull to my feet and knees . I will say that they are a fair weather shoe , If you need to be outside in wet weather your feet will get wet so they are not really a all season shoe . But if inside and walking or standing a lot they can't be beat. Ture to size . A great deal at the sale price .

Poor quality construction

I ordered one pair of these shoe; the right shoe was mismade & didn't fit correctly. I returned these to Cabelal (their service was great, bty) and they sent me another pair. This pair had the same fault. There's a hump in the right shoe--prob. a bad shoe manufacturing last. I've got a pair of Cabelas walking shoes that fit great--I should''ve ordered these instead.
