Reduced quality of a great set of shorts, I've purchased a lot over the years. Placed this review hoping someone will take notice and make a change for the better. Buttons gone, cloth thin, etc.

Trouble with the pockets

I HAVE BEEN BUYING THESE SHORTS FOR YEARS. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT THE LOWER CORNER ON THE FRONT POCKETS START TO TARE WHEN YOU START TO USE THEM. I'M AT THE POINT OF LOOKING FOR ANOTHER BRAND.

What happened to the buttons, why are the pockets smaller. I have been wearing the 7-Pocket Hiker pants for years, had lots of people ask me where I bought them over 50 pair. I am sorry to say this is a big disappointment . You just lost another customer. You had a fine product that I enjoyed wearing.

These have been my standard shorts for 15 years - I have ordered 50 or more pairs over that time. The new design with the velcro closures and the tighter pockets has made them much less useful for field use. You just lost a customer.
