Our son-in-law had ordered one pair of the pants last fall-he told our daughter he would like 5 pair. We purchased one pair for Christmas and she did too. She also purchased another pair for his upcoming birthday. They are nice-looking, durable and have a nice fit. He loves these pants without a doubt and a good price.
I've been a carhart guy, but they're getting pretty worn out so thought I'd give the Riggs a try. Love them, perfect fit, lighter weight but tough. I ordered two pair, but plan on getting more. I've learned that once you find the perfect pants, shirt, etc. better stock up before they change the design and screw it up.
These pants are made from a durable material that is certainly not soft and "comfy". I've owned several pairs of these that I use for work in the outdoors--farm work. That means down on the ground and in the ditches at times. They have extra pockets which are great for carrying the extra tools and parts for whatever your job requires. For some reason Wrangler thinks they need pointed bottoms in the main front pockets, rather than a more usual flat bottom seam So when carrying multiple things they all get funneled toward the pointed bottom. From my experience, you need to order at least one size larger than your normal, as these tend to be tight in the waist. I give up a bit of comfort in these pants to get their durability.. However my last pair developed a very premature unraveling in the bottom of the rear pocket which allowed things to fall out. The pants were only washed once so they should have been still like new. This is the first pair to disappoint in this way
