Kryptek Cadog Pants
Date:
I wore these pants everyday of a 10 day backcountry hunt in Montana. The temperature ranged from 10 to 50 degrees with weather of sun, rain, sleet, and snow. The pants kept me warm while spotting or riding on horseback for several miles. They also block the wind well and shed light rain and snow. I pushed the limits of these pants and wore them in heavy sleet and snow. Even though they soaked through they kept me relatively warm. These pants did not fail, I used them in weather they were not intended to be used in. I learned my lesson and will be buying the Koldo pants. The thigh zips are very nice to have when climbing/hiking several miles. They allow plenty of ventilation to help prevent sweating. the material is very durable. It did not rip, snag, or tear. I was hunting in an area with burned trees and the material did not stain after climbing over numerous blackened trees. These pants are a great all around product.

Great Pants!
Date:
I recently used these pants on my Alaska Moose hunt and couldn't be happier with their performance. I wore them every morning while glassing and actually wore them during a 5 hour packout of a friend's bull moose. I was skeptical about the pants being way too hot for hiking but after using the side zipper to ventilate I was very Impressed! They ventilated perfectly and kept me cool during a rigorous pack. Once again this clothing exceeded my expectations! Great job to a great company.

Great pants
Date:
I wore these pants every day of a 5 day winter camping trip in the boudary waters this february. They worked great--water resistant, very quick drying, and warm. The thigh venting zips on the side were especially useful for the trek in and out. The only bad thing about them is that some holes got burned into them from the fire, but that happens to just about anything I wear camping. The zip pockets, adjustable waist, and velcro ankle cinches worked great as well.

Great Hunting Pants!
Date:
These are the first pair of insulated hunting pants I've owned. They cut back on the layers I'm used to wearing.
Very quiet. Very warm. Shed slushy snow pretty well. Good wind blockage. Effective zipper vents. Well placed deep back pockets. Solid construction. Seams and stitching are tough. Material does not snag easily. Really like the adjustable waist, it eliminates the need for a belt.
Great camo pattern for tree stands and ground hunting in snow. Excellent silhouette break-up.
Colors do clash somewhat with brown and reddish leaves if stalking or ground hunting in fall. Deer shouldn't notice this but a turkey might, as they can see color.
Overall I love my Kryptek clothes, and happy to have a whole outfit.
