was looking for a decent Boonie to utilize on my hunting trips. Came across this Cabelas Sent Lok Boonie and was completely satisfied. Great fit, very rugged and outdoorsy, and best of all the price! i would definitely be getting a few more for the rest of my fam. thanks Cabelas! Great product!

The Cabela's Scent-Lok Boonie was an easy purchase given my past experiences with Cabela's brand products (which have been excellent).
I was looking for a general purpose hunting cap, and I had dismissed the scent locking features as they are out of my price range generally, but not only was this boonie hat what I was looking for, but at a fraction of the cost of the others. The fit and craftsmanship are great and I've taken it with me on two trips so far and I only one mild complaint, which is relative.
Con(s): The cap keeps my head very warm, which can be a good thing, but after hiking around for a bit and with California's weather I do get a bit hot.
A side note - I wish they offered the cap in more patterns as well, but this is just my preference, not a complaint!

Great Hat at a great price

I tagged a +200 lb. doe with my TC mussle loader on October 22, 2011 at 20 yards. I like hunting with my feet on the ground so that I can change game plans as fast as the weather changes in Iowa. This boonie hat proved it's worth when the doe showed itself within twenty feet of where I sat up. She didn't scent or see me, giving me the opportunity to place my crosshairs on her for a perfect kill shot.
I'll be back in the woods this weekend with my crossbow, looking to fill this tag with a big buck, and I will have my boonie on. Thanks for the hat and the deal.
