I was excited to find a blaze orange boonie hat without a black band around the outside. When I got this it seemed to be ok. However when I washed it, the interior sweat band now does not stay in the hat. So when you put it on, you have to tuck it in all around your head. It's not a well put together hat and I don't recommend it. The fabric that encompasses the top is thin nylon. I wore it hunting and it served the purpose but will be looking a different one for next year.
