I wear my cabela's bug skinz bugproof mock t everytime I go out in the field hunting. It is an excellent preventive measure for ticks and also doubles a great layer in the colder days.

Cold and clammy, Not sized right.

First, they are not sized properly. I'm 6'1" and somewhat thin. I ordered the recommended size but the sleeves only went halfway down my forearm. Plus the shirt was way too short and it would not stay tucked in. Also the neck is cut too low.
I bought the bugskins for protection against ticks and this defeated the purpose.
They are very uncomfortable to wear. The material has a cooling affect but it also causes you to sweat. They kept me in a constant cold and clammy sweat.
I can't wear them.

No ticks so far but I gotta say that these things are not anywhere near as breathable as I expected. When it's warm out, they're downright hot. It's almost like long underwear.
However, there's Lyme disease all through the woods up here and I'm wearing these things every single time I go out be it camping/hunting/Disc-golfing I'll have these on. No reason to mess around.
