Great Summer Hat

This was a very good purchase for a straw hat for our annual trip to Mazatlan, Mexico. The hats we looked at in Mexico during prior trips did not compare with this one from Cabelas, even though it was apparently made there! I ordered a large because my normal hat size is 7 1/4. It was a little large, but I used some of the shaped cardboard in the packaging to fit inside the sweat band, and it now fits perfectly. I don't know if the medium size would have been too small. The hat looks very nice and it makes me look more in style than I really am! Cabelas shipped it very quickly and the packaging protected the hat extremely well. I'm a particular person when it comes to quality and value...I'm very well pleased on both accounts!

As a trap shooter, I was looking for a hat that would shade me from the hot summer sun, yet allow enough air to pass thru to keep me cool. This hat definately met my needs! The hat band does a great job of preventing sweat from rolling into my eyes, and fits snugly enough to avoid being blown off my head on breezy days. I would definately recommend this hat to any outdoorsman seeking a cool relief to the hot summer sun.

My husband bought one of these hats over ten years ago to wear on beach vacations and golfing. he literally wore it out over the 10+ years. i was so pleased to see that the same hat was still available for me to get him for a birthday present. Same quality product! thank you Cabellas and Stetson!
