Wow! Do I like this hat. 100% wool, lite and comfortable. They didnt have grey which I wanted but the brown is nice and it was on sale. It looks cool too. If YOU like it.....BUY IT.

What a Great Hat!

Had looked at this hat on the website for a few weeks, but was unsure due to the lack of dimensions listed in the description. Then I found it on a good sale and decided to take a chance.
The hat came yesterday and I was more than pleased. The proportions are perfect, I ordered the right size (large was plenty big enough, I normally wear a size 7 3/8) and it fit my head well. My wife even liked it.
I wore it out later that day and found it to be comfortable and stable on my head.
The construction is excellent. The satin liner is a nice touch (and rather uncommon these days) and the band sets it off nicely.
I think I'll be wearing this alot.

Thick wool in a shaped hat that will not lose its shape after being stowed or stored. I also like the outside leather hat band that is thick and pinned tastefully with a Cabela's gold plated insignia. To add to its quality, Cabelas also lined the inside band in leather and the inside crown with satin. Quality at its finest which can be worn to any setting or event. Takes well to the typically "moist" weather we experience in the greater Puget Sound area during our fall, winter, and spring months.
Caution..!!! Hat sizes do run large. You may want to consider trying one on before purchase or else order one size smaller if you are ordering out of the catalog or over the phone (I had to reduce my size two sizes smaller) for a best fit. You will NOT be disappointed with this Outfitter wool hat as it is a soft, durable, somewhat weatherproof product that you'd expect to pay at least double the price from other retailers.
And don't forget Cabela's "no questions asked" return policy if you're not satisfied with your purchase. However, I'd wager a week of my desserts (my doc would luv it) there will be very few returns of this product from dissatisfied customers.
