This is the second Thermal Hooded Full-Zip Jacket that I've owned. I've had my first one for over 5 years and it is still going strong. It is a little faded and patched up, but it still does what it is supposed to.
Being a land surveyor, I am out in the Michigan weather year round and need durable outerwear. I like the heavyweight feel of the sweatshirt. It can be worn as an outer layer and yet it is not too bulky to be worn as a layering piece.
It holds it's color well and gets softer with each laundering. The zipper is high quality and has never failed. The hood is also well designed and actually fits your head.
This is a great sweatshirt and I highly recommend it.

This jacket is made of heavy fabric and did great against the 15mph N. wind +~34deg . It also holds up and protects better than fancy light weight tech jackets in heavy woods and is quiet. Of course it is not H2O proof.
