I am 100% satisified with my purchase of this hat. Living in the Northwest, I encounter many days in the field that are rainy and cool and this hat has kept my head warm and dry! I have only had to pull the ear flaps just once during a cold spell and was pleased with to note that not only did my ears stay warm, but my hat stayed put in the windy weather. Great combination in a hat.
