I have owned many a hat. The OLD roll up felt hats of yesteryear. This is by far the best hat I have ever owned for hunting. Great fit. Nice weight and good looks. Hope they keep making this one incase I need another.

I've been waiting for years for this hat to become available. Spray "Dry Camp" or whatever on it and now fellow hunters you are now wearing the best ever. GREAT PRODUCT! Get one, Pardners!

Switched to a full brim hat after years of front peaked hats. Keeps rain and snow out of your neck as well as providing a visor for looking into the sun. Don't know why I didn't do that years ago. Two years back I bought the felt hat with the ear flaps in Medium and it was great at first. After it got wet a few times however, it shrunk and doesn't fit so well now. I was about to order another in Large but then I noticed the adjustable version. The advantages are many...
...10 bucks cheaper
...capability of adjusting if hat shrinks.
...Can be adjusted to accommodate ear protection - fleece beanie or whatever.
...Adjustment strap keeps rear of had free of the back of your head allowing ventilation - a big plus.
Of course all the advantages of the regular hat are there too - light wight, packable, bright color etc... My moose hunting partner is going to pick up one too so I've already recommended it.
