Frankly, I needed a good all-around brown belt, this one was on sale. I was very surprised at the quality and details of this belt. If they had a black one I would buy it, too. I say buy it, you will be really happy with it.

It holds things up like it should. I really like this belt. A big step up from my last one. It's made of a nice and thick leather that will last a long time. I don't know why the other reviewer only gave it two stars. To me the belt buckle does not look polished in the picture. It DOES look (in real life) like it is a bit worn, like it's not brand new, which I like because seeing as I wear this when I'm out working on things I won't get unhappy when it gets nicked or scuffed.
This is NOT a dress belt, or something to wear to fancy occasion (though it is possible to remove the buckle and replace it with a nicer piece if you want to, in which case it is fine for wearing in most any situation.) It IS a fine leather piece that does it's job very well and is built to last and look good doing so.

Just received this belt in the mail. The belt I received is different in several aspects from the photograph. The buckle on my belt does not have the same bright silver finish as the photograph; the color is a much darker brown; the stiching on my belt is black or dark brown versus what you see in the photo. Very disappointing.
