Shannon's Bug Tamer™ Big Leaf 3-D Camo Pants

The patented Double-Guard™ double-net design provides spacing between the outer netting and the skin. This spacing is wide enough to prevent an insect's stinger from coming in contact with your skin. The open-mesh 3-D design allows excellent ventilation, so it's ideal for warm-weather hunting, while the 3-D camo provides an extra degree of leafy realism. The pants have a drawstring waist and cuffs. Made in USA.
Sizes: M-2XL.
Camo pattern: Mossy Oak® New Break-Up™.
Text Size: AAA

Very good investment.
Date:
I used these for one full bow season in Minnesota during a wet year when mosquitoes were everywhere. I received no confirmed bites while wearing the suit from any type of bug including ticks and no-see-ums. The leafy part of the pants is plenty tough enough for walking through brush. I lost two leafs but it was my fault - they got caught in my boots as I was taking my boots off. I would gladly buy these again.

Good product for Turkey Hunting
Date:
Overall its a little bulky but for spring Turkey Hunting this product can't be beat for the concealment it provides and keeping the bugs off. For cooler days you will need to wear camo thermals under gaments to maintain concealment, for warmer days I go with plain camo shirts and thin pants. It could be improved with more/better pockets. Overall, I really like this product.

Bug Free Hunting
Date:
I waited years to buy the bug suit, jacket and matching pants. I wish I would have bought them sooner after a miserable spring turkey hunt the spring where I was a human feast for the local mosquitoes. I set up and got a hen to call back early from the roost. She landed within 40 yards of me and came straight to my dekes. I was hoping a tom or jake would follow her in. All the while a cloud of skeeters had gathered around me and were biting me all over despite my pre-hunt soaking in bug spray. The bugs acted like I had put on gravy the way they were digging in on my hands and legs. Needless to say I wound up with bites on top of bites all over. I finally stood up after 20 minutes that seemed to last forever and bumped the bird.
The next weekend I had my suit on and was able to hunt motionless as the bugs tried to find a way in to get at me. I wore a boonie hat so hte hood and head net were off my ears. The hunting was slow and I wound up falling asleep and awoke without one bite. I plan on usiing the suit in our September goose and early archery if the weather is warm. Hunting bug free is the only way to go. Well worth the price.
