Trophy Ridge® Rocket Aeroheads Meat Seeker™ 3-Blade 2" Broadhead – Per 3

  • Piston-hammer technology guarantees blade deployment
  • Tip, shaft, insert and blades are heat-treated for durability
  • Lethal 2" cutting diameter
Don't make blood trailing any harder than it has to be. With the Meat Seeker, you get ultimate penetration that results in massive entry and exit wounds. These blades are deployed without levers or cams that can fail due to loss of energy. The piston-hammer technology guarantees back-to-front blade deployment every time. The rotating head finds the path of least resistance around bone for maximum penetration, tissue damage and blood loss. Heat-treated tip, shaft, insert and stainless steel blades. The three .039"-thick blades combine for a lethal 2" cutting diameter. The blades have no barbs to catch in targets, so arrow removal is easy. Closed, the .55"-flight-diameter head has field-point accuracy. Per 3.
Flight diameter: .55"

Shoot good but cannot sight in without ruining
Date:
I don't think they thought these through as far as sighting them in on targets. When you pull them out the sharp edge hits the tips and ruins the blade. They also blow out huge chunks of your target if you pull them out or push them through. I didn't even have a chance to shoot a deer because I ruined two of them just shooting my target.

Work Great!!!
Date:
I bought these this year because they appealed to me. I like the idea of how they deploy and seemed like they have less chance to fail than other BH's. I have shot 2 deer with them so far. The first was a doe. She was slightly quartering away so the entry hole looke like she got hit with a baseball but the arrow hit her off shoulder. She went 40 yards and died. Next was a buck at 20 yards. Got a complete pass thru and he litterally went 5 steps, stood still for 20 seconds then fell over, which is awesome because I hunt small properties and I do not have permission to track deer on neighboring properties.
One thing I noticed is that when the blades deploy they damage the metal that they hit underneath them so they will not spin when fully deployed because they now have notches in them. Also they seem to get nicks in the blades right on the curve at the top. Almost all of mine have knicks here.

Please Delete Review : Sidewinder Did Not Open
Date:
PLEASE DELETE my write up this month regarding the "Rocket Sidewinder Did Not Open".
Even though it is very true, and caused me much heartache, I do not want that printed anymore. I wrote that when I was mad. No reason to hurt the Rocket company. For two years ago I did harvest a buck with that broadhead. I will never understand all my life why I was so unlucky with just that one broadhead. It is good equipment overall. Delete my review please.
Did not know how to ask you to delete what I wrote earlier, so I just sent another review. thank you.
