Tru-Fire Edge Hybrid FB Release

  • Comfortable, precision-adjustable hybrid strap design
  • Linear-motion bearing for a smooth release
  • 1" length adjustment
The Hybrid Strap is a cross between a Velcro® strap and a conventional buckle strap for precise adjustment and comfort. It utilizes a linear motion bearing for an extremely smooth trigger feel and release. It also features a new lockdown set screw for up to 1" length adjustment and an exact fit. The release head is smaller in diameter than a dime. Scaled-down version retains the functionality and benefits you'd expect. Fold-back buckle strap allows the head and rod to fold back while pulling arrows or climbing into a treestand. Fits both right and left hand. Made in USA.

I researched many different releases and decided on this one. What a great choice! This release is very comfortable and is adjustable to various sizes. It's very snug and works well. I like the trigger on it and it allows for a smooth release.

Really Nice Trigger and Comfort

No Slippage whatsoever as a previous review stated. I agree with another reviewer that the cam lock must not have been closed all the way for slippage to occur. I am a shooter; rifle, handgun, etc..., and I am very picky when it comes to triggers. As a result, I will give this release 5 stars because the trigger has very little creep at all. This obviously reduces jerking and assists in more accurate shooting. The wrist wrap is comfortable and quiet. The strap is like a ratchet strap with a cam lock; super strong and locks in solid. It makes for easy a more precise adjustments from early fall jackets to bulkier winter wear. I have no need of switching to any other type.

Did not have a problem with strap slipping as previous review. I wonder if he had the cam lock pressed down all the way. You can adjust the lenght about 1 inch and with the strap, you can adjust it to fit any wrist size. Very comfortable wrist strap and good feel to trigger.

Good idea, but not practical

I had been going back and forth between the edge hybrid and the edge buckel. I liked the thicker wrist band on the hybrid, but I was concerned with the nylon strap which secures it. The shop owner told me to take it and if I did not like it bring it back. So I did. First let me say I loved the feel of the thick stap and the release worked flawlessly, but the nylon stap would not stay tight. I like my wrist stap a little snug, and everytime I would draw back on my bow I could feel the strap slip. That is not a feeling I want to feel when I am drawing down on a trophy. So I took it back and got the edge buckel and love it. It is the best release I have ever used. If they were to use a material that would not slip this would be a great product.
