Rage 40KE Two-Blade Broadheads

  • Internal locking system holds blades back
  • O-ring shock absorber maintains performance
  • Cut-on-contact tip
  • .035 stainless steel blades slide rearward upon impact
  • Flies like a field tip
  • 1.5" cutting diameter with blades extended
Rear-deploying Rage SlipCam broadheads are guaranteed to deploy upon entry, giving you the full benefit of the head's cutting diameter. In flight, Rage broadheads are streamlined with a 3/4" in-flight diameter. Upon impact, the SlipCam system initiates and the blades slide back, deploying from the rear. High-speed footage shows that Rage broadheads are fully deployed, even hyper-extended at impact. Traditional over-the-top expandables, on the other hand, deploy as they enter, resulting in a much smaller entry hole. The blades on a Rage cut a wide swath for maximum tissue damage. Rage's ShockLock™ System employs an O-ring that acts as a small shock absorber for the blades, protecting them if they hit bone.

Penetration tests prove that, in spite of their impressive cutting diameter, Rage broadheads out-penetrate fixed-blade broadheads and over-the-top expandables. All Rage broadheads feature a stainless steel, instant-cut tip, HexFlat design for exceptionally stable flight, stainless steel blades, and a body machined from aircraft-quality aluminum. The 40KE is made specifically for those hunting extra big game like moose. It's recommended that hunters use this head for big game if they generate less than 40 ft. lbs. of kinetic energy. Includes a free practice head. 100 grain. Per 3.

Junk
Date:
JUNK, out of the package they are not sharp. Putting them in and pulling them out of the quiver the blades fall out. Walk the blades fall out. The blades are thin and bend. My daughter shot her first bull elk at 12 yds this year. According to the pros there should be blood every where,.. NO.. 3 days 6 people searching no bull. If I wasn't standing right there I would of said she missed, but no I saw the shot. Dead elk somewhere.
Don't waste your money.

Hopefull
Date:
I am 14 and i am a pretty small kid for my age so im not able to pull a ton of weight (50#) and i recently purchased a pack of these because they are supposed to work for bows with lower K.E. so far the practice heads fly amazing. I have read some really good and really bad reviews. i am hoping that the rage will live up to wat i expect this fall.

One Shot. One Kill

A little anecdote to show how effective the 40KE two-blade can be...
Opening day, had a shot at a coyote, but rushed it and buried the broadhead in the dirt. Pulled the arrow out, washed out the broadhead, and stuck the arrow back in the quiver. Next evening, didn't even realize until later that I nocked the same arrow (with the same broadhead). I ended up arrowing an 8 point whitetail buck with a complete pass-through.
Would I recommend firing an arrow into the dirt and using the same broadhead on the next hunt? No way.
Do I recommend you give the Rage 40KE a try? Absolutely. They fly true and get the job done when you put them in the right spot.
