Trying to replace blades on these broadheads is an absolute nightmare. I literally spent hours trying to figure out how to get the blades to stay clipped. You find yourself trying to make minute adjustments to the factory clips and is you make a mistake the clip is ruined. HAve a tendency to pop open when you brush anything with the broadhead or even putting them in the quiver.
I purchased the T3's when they came out this past summer, and I have to say that I am very impressed. Blade "assembly" and setting is very easy once you get it, but I'd recommend using an eraser, as the blades are very sharp. The practice blades work very well, and do not wreck my block target like other fixed blades. The heads also fly very accurately and just like my field tips.
I just got back from a hunt, and got to test out the heads for the first time. I was in a steady rain all morning, and when I shot the deer, the rain did not help with tracking. The shot was a clear pass through at 17 yards, blades opened up on contact and left a huge entrance and exit hole. Even though we couldn't see much blood because of the rain, it was easy to find the deer because it only ran about 75 yards, downhill the hole way.
I can't thank G5 enough, and I love their products! Would recommend this broadhead to anyone and can't wait for the rest of the season!
