Ergonomically shaped, this compass has an extended base plate with inch and 1/10-mile direct reading scales that meet USGS standards. They have 1:24,000 and 1:62,500 direct read scales, 2° dial graduations and a built-in magnifier to view map details. They also have a declination scale for adjustment of map bearings. A lanyard is included. 1.2 oz.

great compass if the north pointed north, but the south (white arrow) on mine pointed north and the north (red arrrow) pointed south. they offered to replace it but i just use it as is.
