Cabela's Alaskan Guide® Model Carry-On Bag

  • Tough ballistic nylon exterior
  • Compression-pressed foam panels in impact zones
  • D-shaped main compartment zipper for easy access
  • Zippered end compartments
  • Adjustable padded shoulder strap
This Carry-On can handle a lot more than occasional shifting of contents in the overhead bin. It's made of tough 2,500-denier ballistic nylon that has made Cabela's Alaskan Guide Luggage a favorite. Stylish good looks incorporate contrasting-colored panels. Compression-pressed Hypalon® foam panels in impact zones result in increased protection of contents and lighter weight. The comfortable carry handle is made from genuine leather. A new D-shaped zippered opening to the main compartment makes for easy access, loading and unloading. Zippered end compartments are handy for items you may need to access quickly, and there's a travel document pocket on the side. Adjustable padded shoulder strap. Imported.

TUFF AS NAILS!!
Date:
I already own the wheeled duffle and super cub Alaskan Guide gear and when I needed a carry on I didn't hesitate to add this bag to my travel gear. Not only is the size just about perfect for carry, but this gear is "iron tough". Traveling thousands of miles to hunt camps around the country, this gear has held up to some of the roughest handling without a hitch. I would highly recommend this gear to anyone looking for equipment that's durable enough to handle the rigors of back country travel.

EXCELLENT CARRY-ON
Date:
THIS BAG IS EXTREMELY WELL MADE AS ARE ALL ALASKAN GUIDE LUGGAGE PIECES I HAVE PURCHASED. VERY ROOMY WITH HEAVY DUTY ZIPPERS. THE ZIPPER POUCHES ON BOTH ENDS ARE REINFORCED AND SHOULD HOLD UP VERY WELL. IT ALSO COMES WITH A NICE PADDED, DETACHABLE SHOULDER STRAP. LOOKS VERY GOOD TOO.

Love this Bag
Date:
My family and I have used these bags hard from Alaska to Mexico. They are tough and just the right size for several days of travel. In the woods or in the city it goes everywhere and looks good doing it! After 5 years they still look new.

One Modification
Date:
I agree with Max45 about the bag's good points and about the one design "problem." I got a strip of "sticky-back" velcro and applied it under pressure to the bottom of the flap, and left it overnight. Now I can close it to make a pouch, or leave it open. It works great.
