RMC Magnum E.C. Loader

Simply premeasure the powder, pour into one of the four cylinders, thumb-press patch/ball, maxiball or sabot, rotate the cylinder and start the bullet into the barrel. Each chamber of this unit will hold up to three Pyrodex pellets or approximately 150 grains of loose powder, plus the bullet. The loader comes packed with four adapters to allow it to be used with most half stocked muzzleloaders with barrels that are either round or octagon in sizes 7/8" to an 1".

Very poor operational design.

I have one of the original E.C. loaders a very good and operational tool (not see thru), however the newer version is very poor quality. I just returned from Colorado on a Black powder Elk hunt. The newest version of the E.C. loader leaked the loose powder out of the cylinders while carring, making inconsistent loads (potential game injuring loads) good thing it is see thru. If you were only using pelets it would be ok, but loose powder is not a good idea. the original design worked great and also came with a carring case to keep the loader in an upright posision. (original version gets five stars)
