This lizard is great and can be fished many ways.. Texas, Carolina, I also would try on and Alabama rig but maybe too big for that .. I fish it Texas style in the morning without a weight much like a fluke.... toss it on shore and pull quickly on top water then let sink slowly... have triggered strikes on many bass this way... Later in the day add a weight and fish through cover... Would like head to be slightly more durable which would extend it's useful life
Ok so one time when I was out fishing on my dock a fisher on a boat was fishing by me so I started talking to him and he gave me a full pack of these and taught me how to get them set up and I love them I caught a 5 pound bass (weighed on my fish scale) on the first day of using them and I've caught a fish on every lizard in the pack. I'm hooked on them for life.
An extremely good Carolina rig bait for deep summer bass. Requires a little more weight, but so does 25 feet fishing depths. The only drawback is their limited availability in the soft plastics section and that apparently they don't come in all of the same colors as the rest of Zoom's lizards.
