"I finally picked up an Assault last year after hunting out of an Alpha for years. Still love my Alpha(s), but throw 4 LW sticks on the Assault and you can pack in a LONG way in total comfort. It feels like it's barely there. Reminds me of the original LWs from long ago. Best, too, they've added all the bells and whistles to the Assault that had been saved for the Alpha (leveling system, EZ hang Hook System, etc), so it's just as tricked out. Love it. LOVE IT! Highly recommend!"

"LW Assault hang-on stands rock! I own two and if I bought another stand it would be a LW. My bro-in-law used my stands when he visited during the KS rifle season and purchased two for himself as soon as he got home. The stands when used with the LW steps are an awesome package. The LW steps pack together quietly and easily with the stand and work great for transporting in and out. I use alot of hit-and-run tactics and the stands work great with the steps. They are quiet and easy to set up. The strap system for the steps are great as well. The stands are well designed for hunters who move stands often or carry their stand in and out each hunt. Great stand overall."

"I am 14 and i have the Lone Wolf Alpha Assualt Hang On with the Lone Wolf Sticks. I couldnt b hapier wit it. it is quiet, light weight, and is easy 2 put up. I am up in the tree under 5 minutes. i have used my dads climber nd i think that my stand is easier 2 put up. The only bad thing is the harness. It relies on 2 metal hooks that you hook onto the waist belt(i just used my dads harness). Other than the harness i love this stand. Is very stable too. I would recomend it 2 everyone."

"This was the easiest and lightest hang on treestand I have ever put in a tree. Its kind of pricey for a hand on but after hanging it I felt it was worth it. The seat looks small but surprisingly very comfortable."

"i got it home and tried it in a tree in my yard a little awkward i thought espeacialy with climbing sticks but i got up there used tree with limbs i think its the key to this stand i dont feel comfortable on a straight and no limb tree feels to much like a pole climber to me ! the test will be using it out in the field today in newhampshire cold weather its 27 degrees i imagine ill freeze before getting it into tree and hunt lol i think it seems a little extra time for set up by trying it yesterday in yard i hope it goes quicker in the woods ill repost my view on it later again after trying it out i bought 3 mini sticks too wont get me as high but i cant afford the weight of extra bulk"

"1st tree stand puchased for a new bow hunter. The stand seems fairly simple and easy to hang. The included photocopied instructions weren't that clear. A visit to the Lone Wolf web site and a down load of the PDF instruction manual cleared most questions up. Didn't like the included safety harness. As a professional FF and used to various body harnesses could tell right away that wasn't the best quality. But hey, it's included with the stand for "free", what do you want for "nothing". Upgrade the harness - after a a few practice hang & shoot sessions the included harness showed frays and damage. I think the company has the right idea here - simple, quiet to hang & well built."

"Lonewolf's stand seem to be the quietest. I have the seat climber, also a well made product. I can compare this to owning a Gorilla stand. The gorilla's expanded metal on the bas is noisy, and has sharp edges that have ripped my gear. The Lonewolf has 2 straps that stabilize twince as much as the 1 strapped gorilla. Also the connection teeth that the lonewolf has (10 or so), allow for much more variation and stable securing to trees than the 2 teethed gorilla stand. The seat is not huge like the gorilla, but is comfortable for the agressive hunter."

"This is a great little stand. It's light and small enough to carry just about anywhere you want to take it. The 'E-Z Hang' hook makes hanging it simple. I added padded backpack straps that make it feel even lighter to carry. The only problem I have is that the seat is fairly hard."

"If you are like me you have more than a few old stands and sticks that promised alot but were flawed. I have hunted this set up in western washingtons back country and Iowas hard woods. This is the real thing! Its light, quiet, packs easy and hangs quiet and easy! Once hung it is rock solid and quiet, I paired this stand with a 4 pack of lone wolfs sticks and have had nothing but good luck. The offset bracket works great and the bow holder (i was not going to use) is priceless. If you like a scout, set up, kill style of hunting this is it look no more!"
