"The stand itself is great, but as the other review said the seat is sub-par. I set it up in my yard to practice from and the third time I sat on it the weld on the plunger broke (just as the other reviewer stated). I weigh around 200lbs and I don't think the stand should be breaking as I think my body size fairly representative of many hunters out there, plus the stand is rated to 300lbs. The nice thing is that the issue is easily fixed. You just need to remove the bolt and add as many washers as needed to make the seat level when in the down position. Other than that, the stand is quite nice. The platform isn't huge, but it has plenty of room to move around on comfortably. The seat itself is nice; the pad is comfortable and the way the stand is designed you are away from the tree a bit so you can get your whole backside on the seat (unlike other stands I have used). The seat will also fold up totally out of the way without falling back down. If the seat problem could be fixed I would not hesitate to buy another one of these stands."

"Big disappointment. Out of the box I thought this would be my new stand of choice. Got it in the tree and the self leveling plunger weld broke the first time I sat on the seat. A lot of good things about this stand but the seat needs redesign. Just glad it didnt break with deer under me."
