Worth the money and battery life is great!,November 18, 2009
By SoloCam21
"I bought myself one I-45 and the modem with it back in September. I had only one problem with the modem, but was something to do with the camera(read my post under reviews with the modem). This camera takes excellent photos and the video is unreal for quality. It has shown us deer movement through areas we didn't realize before because I'm able to see it using the game management system. This way I don't have to visit the camera often to check the card. Battery life is very good, but you do have to realize if your getting 500+ photos at a time it will drain quickly, but investing in the power panel is worth it. Their service techs are very helpful and when I had a problem they sent me a fixed camera immediately! I plan to invest in more of these in the future."

happy consumer,November 11, 2009

"I'm extremely pleased with my new I-45 gamespy camera, as I have been with my other two I-40 cameras. Using quality batteries and following the instructions have made the set up and performance of this camera flawless. The affordable and convenient internet access saves me time and money as my camera is 50 miles away. My friends and family really enjoy looking at the pictures daily."

I don't understand what you don't like,October 27, 2009
By BigPapaBuckfrom TX
"I am very happy with my camera and the Game Management System. I purchased mine three weeks ago. I was afraid that the setup would be difficult but I followed the directions in the box and had no trouble at all. I love just looking at my pictures from my computer and not having to drive to retrieve the SD card. I have found the picture quality good. If I see a great image I make a note and take it off the SD card. The shutter has not frightened any deer, racoons or turkey. I get great pics daily, some days are slow but that's nature. I would recommend reading the instructions really well before I put it in the field. I like this one so much, I went back and got two more."

The manufacture suggests that you use Energizer, Duracell or Moultrie branded batteries. Using a quality battery will increase the performance and image quality you receive from your camera.

Extremely impressed see my modem review for hints,October 22, 2009
By 1CoolCatfrom Charlotte NC
"I am surprised by all of the negative reviews. I love this product. But I have some basic understanding of the internet as I am a web designer. See my review on the modem for some helpful hints provided to me from Moultrie.
The pictures on the internet will never be as good as the pictures on the Memory card. The internet only allows so many pixels, and colors. I suggest using a memory card to keep the pictures in high quality.
I was a little weary of the camera at first. But it's really simple now that I have learned to work it. I had a little trouble at first. But it turned out that I had my modem in test mode and it was constantly dialing in. Once I switched it AUTO everything started working fine.
When the day filter drops there is a slight clicking, but it doesn't bother the game. The capassator his a little when the flash goes off. But it doesn't bother the game.
Virtually invisible means almost invisisble. I can only see the flash when I am directly in front of the camera. Stand off to the side slightly and I cannot see the flash at all."

Camera and Modem,October 12, 2009
By tdhufrom alabama
"Purchased 2 cameras and 2 modems. Problems with one camera and its replacement. One uploads sometimes. The other uploaded a while and then quit. Uploaded photos do not provide enough detail to be really useful. You will still need to retrieve cards to get good look. Worked with customer service to troubleshoot upload problems but they were unable to fix. Cellular coverage on ranch is good so that was not a problem. Cancelled my account today. Do not do this unless you can stand to lose a few hundred dollars."

Not impressed for the money,October 5, 2009
By Lt10cfrom South Central PA
"The lens filter is noisy when a picture is taken. Trigger speed is slow. The LED aiming light is really hard to amin. it is not pin point. I do not think it is true invisible IR.
Picture qualities both day and night are OK. Video at night is OK. Video during the day is less than expected.
The case is very durable and well made. Programming is very easy.
I think there are better cameras for the money. I gave this a couple weeks trail and I am returning."

moultrie I-45,September 27, 2009
By bowwinkles
"The hype leading up to this product being released lasted several months with changes rangeing from totaly invisable flash to the present vertially invisable. My first thought as it came out of the box was great. That faided with every thing that I did with the camera. The case design is somewhat more solid that the previous I and M series caameras. The top control for programming and card access is super stupid. The first thing happened was water from the lid went down the SD card hole and into the progrmming switch when opened and the dew from the tree that had fell on the lid. This required that the cam be dried out (a day in the hot sun open) and then re installed. The SD card slot is sloppy and carefull alignment is required to properly insert the card. During my first attempt to insert the card resulted in me bumping the bark on the tree above the camera and trash (bark) fell down inside the hole and could not be removed without a small tool. After about 5 days I finally did get a few fictures. (camera sensing is extremely weak) The picture quality is very poor in the top setting and the night IR pictures are just plain fuzzy and blured. There was no whiteout pictures but the transition from day to night had many very dark and black pictures. This is going to be a return for sure and I would not buy another one. The biggest disappointment was probably the highly visable flash at 50 + feet and in the vidio mode the constant fluttering really bothered the deer. The shuttter clunk also ran the animals off."

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT,September 24, 2009
By PennsylvaniaBowHunterfrom Pennsylvania
"The picture qaulity is very poor even with the highest resolution setting. This camera took 9 pictures, 6 with the highest resolution and all I could see was blurry pictures of what appears to be deer in the distance. I tried to magnify the image with Moultrie's maginfying feature and it provide no help, other than to make a blurry picture a larger blurry picture. I like the concept of retriving your pictures via internet but these pictures are worthless. The images that are uploaded via their GPS devise are not readable and are not the same quality as the pictures stored on the SD cards. In addition, there is a one-time activation fee AND a cancellation fee should you decide you do not want to continue to pay for blurry pictures....so be careful before you subscribe. And if that wasn't bad enough there is no customer service number on their website to ask questions about improving picture quality. Bad product, No customer service, and fees, fees and more fees. Save you money....this product does not work. I am returning my camera."

Don't believe the hype,September 8, 2009
By BackyardDeerfrom NW MN
"I received the i45. I put it through my usual tests out of the box and I think im going to return it before it hits the field.
For daytime pics it makes 2 fairly loud clicking noises for each pic. I assume this is the shutter? The night pics are much better but you can still hear a slight high pitch squeal as the flash charges I assume.
Based on my best tests id say the trigger time is about one second or maybe slightly more. Better but not lightning by any means.
The invisible infared light is not so invisible. you can plainly see it flash although it is about 25 percent as bright as a normal infared.
I did love the new case and flip top lid. Plus the camera itself was a lot smaller.
The worst is the clicking noise on the day pics. The last thing I want is to turn a buck nocturnal by scaring him in day pics.
Looks like im back to square one."

Not Impressed,September 6, 2009
By WoodsMen25from Minnesota
""I received my camera on Friday September 4th. I thought that this camera would be better than the I40. The trigger speed seems to be faster during the day than at night. The shutter is very noisy when a picture is taken and the deer look at the camera. The LED aiming light is really hard to see during the day. You still can see the red glow of the IR illuminators. The case is very durable and well made. Programming is very easy. The nighttime photos seem to be better on the I40 than this one. Overall I feel that it would be a much better camera without the red glow and without a shutter."

Dissappointed!,September 4, 2009
By CameraAddictfrom Minnesota
"I received my I45 yesterday and tested it all day. I had hoped there would be some improvements over the I40 but I was very dissappointed. Trigger speed is SLOW...similar to I40. The lens filter is VERY NOISY when a picture is taken. Also, the camera is not true IR! It does not come with the IR lens filter as shown in adv. photos. You still can see the red glow of the IR illuminators. Now for the good news...the case is very durable and well made. Programming is very easy. Picture quality both day and nite are pretty good."
