"I have used the prong and fall away rest for years. Finally gave the Whisker Bisquit a try after shooting my son's bow. Arrow is contained with zero worries of the arrow falling while grabbing your bow in a stand. Great patterns, probably best I have ever shot. Easy to mount, set up and shoot. I shoot aluminum arrows and don't have a problem with noise during draw. I have found that I get better patterns if I use a bisquit one size larger than the manf suggests. I shoot 2315 arrows, manf suggests to use the Large bisquit but I use the Xlrg with great results. Cant wait until the 09 season.
Great price compared to the fancy fall away rests.
Thx Cabelas for the price and fast shipping. Now if we could get a store in the OKC, OK area that would be icing on the cake. I hate waiting for the UPS man."

bad on fletchings,

"i'm 14 and my bow came with a whisker biscuit. the only negative is there bad on flights. I shoot 100 shots a day atleast and have had to have many arrows refletched i'm going to turn to a drop away."

"I absolutely love this rest! It totally captures your arrow so that you can literally stand on your head and not have to worry about your arrow falling off the rest at the moment of truth. It is easy to set up and works great for paper-tuning your bow with the easy adjustments. I tried a couple of fall-away rests and quickly came back to the Whisker Biscuit!"

"Great product. This rest came with my Parker bow package. At first, I thought this thing can't work; However I decided to give it a chance. It is very basic and dependable. I used the basic prong-style rest for many years, always had some issues with them like springs wore out, play in the prongs, always seemed to be something. Not with these!!! There is not many parts to break, bend, or loosen. You can move your bow all around and not have to worry about the arrow falling off the rest. Surprisingly the whiskers have no affect on flight as the vain passes through them. I recently read other reviews about the Whisker Biscuit making noise under certain weather conditions, I'm going to look into that because that is definitely not a good thing!!!"

"I have one of these on my PSE X-force. I am shooting speeds around 335fps. The monafiliment in the rest that holds the arrow has had around a 100 shots through it. they are starting to go away from arrow and look like they are melting or on a bad hair day. poorly made buscuit."

"Accurate, convenient, reliable. This rest has it all. Does wear out regular vanes, but with a switch to 2" stiff vanes, and the problem has vanished. Great rest overall!"

"I purchased the deluxe whisker biscuit and so far it has been the best rest I have ever used. My plastic vanes are not affected by the biscuit at all, which may be due to the new version of the biscuit. Arrow flight is great and very accurate. Remember to match your arrows with the appropriate biscuit, whether your using aluminum or carbon. It is totally silent and the included felt pads are great. The rest is virtually silent when drawing your arrow, and it was extremely easy to install, only taking a few minutes and then fine tuning. Quick load is great, and any chance of your arrow coming off the rest is gone, which is such a plus while waiting for game to come and having an arrow knocked and not having to worry about the arrow ever coming off or making a sound. Also the rest is very well made. There simply is no better or easier rest for hunting, in my opinion. Buy one and you wont be sorry!"

"I put one of these on m,y Mathews SQ2 and hated it . mY FLETCHINGS WERE BASICALLY DESTROYED WITHIN A FEW SHOTS. It was noisy ugly and my accuracy was cut in half. Buy some good kind of fallaway rest inatead, like the ultra Rest"

Delux Whisker biscuit arrow rest,

"This item was easy to install. It holds the arrow very securly and completely reduces the chance for the arrow to fall off the rest when drawing to shoot.
It does add some additional noise when the arrow is released which will probably ease off after shooting multiple arrows thru it when practicing. The major concern I am seeing after approximately 50 shots, is the plastic vanes on my arrows are now wavy along the top of the vane. It appears that after using arrows for practice, I will not be able to shoot the same arrow as accurately due to the vanes becoming wavy. That will become an expensive and time consuming problem if I have to use different carbon arrows for hunting vs. practice."

"I got this for christmas and i expected it to work great because of all the good reviews, however, after shooting for only 3 days it cut one of the vanes on my arrow. Then, more recently i was hunting on a humid morning and as i drew back, the arrow screeched as it passed through the biscuit and the deer pranced off back where it came from. Not a good hunting story. I think i am going to go to fall away rests to get my mind off of this mishap."
