"I had originally planned on purchasing a 36lb or higher trolling motor for my 14' jon boat but it was sold out so I decided to go with this 30lb. I had my boat loaded with over 450lbs and this motor had no problem getting us around it actually creates a pretty good wake."

"I've used this motor 5 or 6 times so far on local rental jon boats. It seems to be very efficient as far as battery drainage is concerned. I use a 115 amp hour deep cycle battery,and 4 hours of running at all speeds (sometimes full speed,mostly slowly fishing along the bank),I charge it maybe an hour and it's back at full charge. Works great for my needs. Couldn't ask for anything more. Especially at this price."
