"I had been hunting for a casual weekend boiled wool jacket and came across this one. It was on sale for a fantastic price, a fraction of the price of comparable brands. It's casual but has a nice shape to it. I love the color and it is soooo warm. The only issue I have is that it does tend to pill and shed a bit more than I'd like. But it's not that big a deal. Also, I got an extra large and it's a bit larger than I expected; next time I'd just go with a large."

"I bought 2 of these in medium. They fit perfectly, clean on a delicate/cold setting in my washer, and look great with both jeans (for casual wear) and slacks (for work). The sleeves are neither too tight nor too loose - something I appreciate because too tight sleeves make my slender arms look skinny and too loose sleeves flop around on them. I always get compliments whenever I wear them because they are slimming and the colors (atlantic & plum) are complimentary to my "wintery" complexion. The best comments come from my husband who rarely says anything about what I wear, " Why don't you wear that blue or purple jacket, you always look good in those?" They look good with tailored shirts and turtlenecks, too."

"I bought this sweater because it looked nice, and I was looking for a sweater that was warm. I ordered 2 (one in another color) and I love them both. They are very warm, and the fit is great. I have washed them in gentle cycle (inside out) and hung them on a hanger to dry, and they look great. I plan on buying other colors. I have worn them outside with a vest overtop and they keep me warm. I live at the shore NJ and we have had some cold days this winter along with the winds, and I make sure I have this sweater on when I go out for a walk. I love sweaters with pockets also. This sweater is a winner."

"This sweater is great for layering without looking sloppy. I found the back of the neck to be pretty itchy though, so stick to collared shirts or something that will cover your neck. The cuffs and collar are a nice touch, soft and comfortable. The pockets and zipper are sturdy and well-constructed. This sweater is not as thick as some other boiled wool sweaters. For me this is not a drawback, as it allows me to wear it more often without overheating."

"Nice looking and warm sweater/jacket. It works great to wear as a warm sweater inside during the winter, and will also make a wonderful lightweight jacket for fall and spring.
After reading other reviews that the sizing ran a bit small I ordered a medium (usually I wear a small or a size 8). The medium in this sweater turned out to be way too large for me so it was sent back to exchange for a small. Even the small is a bit large, but ok. I'm hoping it will shrink up just a little when it is cleaned. I guess if I hadn't read the reviews I probably would have ordered the small in the first place.
While I thought the original price I paid was quite reasonable for a boiled wool sweater, having to pay to return the first one made the final cost quite a bit more."
